Our story began in Chicago in 1995 when founder Marc Shudnow bought a fixer-upper and got burned by contractors. Rather than accept poor work and vague answers, he learned how to repair and improve the home himself.
Marc eventually became a home inspector, gaining a deeper understanding of how homes are built, where problems hide and why details matter.
